Evangelism

The Evangelism Committee is concerned with making sure the "Good News" has an opportunity to be heard through the ministries of the Church of the Good Shepherd. To that end, we are responsible for advertising in the newspaper and the phone book, as well as other outlets.

Beyond this, the committee helps with the greeting and welcoming of visitors and newcomers to our church. We try to make all who come through our doors feel that they have found a home at the Church of the Good Shepherd.
Because evangelism is bigger than our life here at Good Shepherd, we sponsor a number of events with other churches in the community, including ecumenical worship services.
We believe that we have Good News to proclaim here at the Church of the Good Shepherd, and we are the folks who help the message to be proclaimed.
